The Institute for Spirituality and Health at the Texas Medical Center in Houston recognized Faheemah Hannah, DNP, with the Emma and Emily Josephine Spirituality in Nursing Award at this year’s Annual Nursing Conference.
Hannah, a College of Nursing faculty member at TWU Dallas, was nominated by Joli Blount of the Impact for Community Change.
The award is given to nurses in the community who make a difference in patients’ lives.
In addition to Hannah’s role at TWU as an associate clinical professor, MSN program director and more, she also serves as a faith community nurse actively providing healing, comfort and support to families experiencing loss.
