Du, Hansen-Thomas receive $238,589 grant

Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences associate professor Xiaofen Du, PhD and Vice Provost of Research, Innovation, and Corporate Engagement Holly Hansen-Thomas, PhD have been awarded a $238,589 grant from Daisy Brand to support undergraduate student research.

The grant will launch in February and students can apply for the grant in the spring semester. Bachelor’s students in science disciplines, such as those in the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences (including Food Science, FNBI, Culinary, and Nutrition) and the School of the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry), are eligible to apply for this funding.
