TWU Dance Division Fellow and PhD candidate Juliana Azoubel received the 2025 Ric Rose Alumni Award from the University of Florida Theatre and Dance Department on Friday, Jan. 31.

The Ric Rose Alumni Award honors the memory of Ric Rose, University of Florida dance professor, by offering awards and guest teaching residencies to alumni of the School of Theatre + Dance program.

During Azoubel's residency at the University of Florida, students, faculty and community members were invited to lectures, and master classes with Azoubel. She connected with current students, faculty, and community members.
