Juan Araujo, PhD (Professor of Bilingual Education, Literacy & Learning) accepted the Robert A. and Beverly H. Hackenberg Prize at the Society for Applied Anthropology Conference in recognition of the bilingual homework hotline work TWU is doing in partnership with Denton ISD and the University of North Texas. 

The Hackenberg Prize recognizes SfAA members and their community partners whose work demonstrates sustained and meaningful collaboration to improve the communities where they live and work.
