Christie Acho, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, and the dedicated Living Hope medical team embarked on a medical mission to Nigeria on June 17, 2023.

Comprising of approximately 25 medical professionals from various corners of the country, the team's journey spanned four days and resulted in approximately 200 surgeries, utilizing spinal, local, and general anesthesia based on the surgical requirements.

After their impactful stint in Abia State, the team journeyed to Anambra State. Over two days, the team provided similar services as in Isuikwuato, treating around 700 individuals, performing approximately 100 general surgeries, and attending to 500 patients at the optometrist's station.

The team has already commenced planning for the 2024 medical mission.
