The Woodcock Autism Assessment Clinic (WAAC) is now open to clients for initial evaluation or re-evaluation for possible autism spectrum disorders.
Comprehensive assessments will provide information regarding cognitive, academic, language, developmental, adaptive, social, emotional and behavioral skills and current functioning levels along with recommendations for interventions and supports. Insurance is accepted. Call 940-369-5373 for more information and to begin the assessment process.
The WAAC, located in the UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center, 490 S. I-35E in Denton, is a collaboration between the center, the TWU Department of Psychology and the Woodcock Institute. Wendi Johnson (psychology), WAAC director, supervises doctoral students in TWU’s school psychology program who gain valuable assessment experience through their practicum.
