TWU to host regional SENCER symposium

Texas Woman’s will host the annual SCI-SW Regional SENCER (Science Education for New Civic Engagements and Responsibilities) symposium 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, in room 259 of the Ann Stuart Science Complex. The symposium topic, “Citizen Science: The Impact on our Communities by Plastics in Our Environment,” will focus on the global crisis of plastic from multidisciplinary views including the science, environmental, economic, policies and health-related impacts of plastics. The symposium will be held as a Zero Impact event.
