The Professional Grounds Management Society® recognized Texas Woman’s as a 2024 Green Star Awards® winner during the society’s annual awards celebration on Oct. 17 in conjunction with the PGMS 2024 Annual Conference “Transform” in Louisville, Ky.

In all, 15 educational institutions were recognized with a Grand Award (the highest honor), an Honor Award or the Sustainability Award. The Texas Woman’s campuses received the Honor Award in the competition’s mid-size college category. The society has recognized Texas Woman’s eight times since 2007.
