Texas Woman's takes part in Denton's Thin Line festival

Denton’s annual Thin Line film and music festival, scheduled March 23-27, features a host of documentaries and live bands throughout the free, five-day event. Texas Woman’s University is a sponsor of the festival, and this year a history-making team of students will lead a Q&A with an audience of moviegoers.

Members of the Texas Woman’s team that earned the top prize in the 2021 Texas Space Grant Consortium Design Challenge – a NASA-sponsored engineering design challenge – will lead a Q&A with fest attendees Friday, March 25, following the screening of the documentary Zero Gravity at Movie Tavern Denton. Deanna Titzler (Marketing & Communication, Denton) will moderate a virtual Q&A with the movie’s director on Saturday afternoon.

The festival is free, but registration is required. In-person and virtual options are available for attendees. Visit thinline.us for registration and additional information.
