The 2023 Teaching and Learning Symposium (TLS) will take place 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 24, in the Southwest Ballroom of the Student Union at Hubbard Hall on the Denton campus. Check-in will begin at 9 a.m. outside the ballroom. The symposium will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end with lunch and networking time at noon.
TLS, hosted by the Center for Development, Design, and Delivery (CD3), is designed to be a peer-to-peer sharing opportunity. Instructors are encouraged to share their innovating teaching practices in the areas of teaching techniques, technology incorporation, accessibility standards, and more.
The symposium format will feature Table Talks presentations, providing an opportunity to share information and engage directly with attendees. These sessions involve one or more speakers presenting simultaneously, with each session lasting 10-12 minutes. Attendees will move to a different table of their choice after each presentation.
