TBFSA to present 'Power in numbers' panel discussion

TWU’s Black Faculty and Staff Association (TBFSA) presents "Power in numbers: allyship needs for different identity groups" at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 27, via Zoom. This virtual town hall-style panel will feature representatives from TWQ, Unidxs, and TBFSA, three affinity groups at TWU that are represented on the Chancellor's DEI Council.

Panelists will be asked questions about their experience navigating the workplace through the lens of their identity and share tips on how employees from various backgrounds can be allies at work. The goal of this panel is to strengthen unity among minoritized TWU employees and share information and awareness with all TWU employees.

Dewaynna Horn, PhD (College of Business, Houston) will serve as moderator. Panelists include:

  • Carmen Cruz, PsyD (Counseling and Psychological Services, Denton)
  • Jason Lambert, PhD (Business, Denton)
