The deadline for submission of abstracts to participate in the 2021 Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium has been extended to Thursday, Feb. 18, to allow students and faculty sponsors more time to prepare their abstracts.

The symposium, scheduled to take place virtually April 13-14, highlights research and scholarly activities of undergraduate and graduate students across many departments and colleges.

Nominations for Chancellor’s Student Research Scholars, a special category of recognition, are due by Thursday, Feb. 25. Nominees for this program schools exhibit outstanding achievement in their research or creative art endeavors. Final selection of these scholars will be made by the research committee of the Graduate Council.
