Site work in front of Jones Hall began this morning (Wednesday, May 23). This work will involve the replacement of paving and re-striping of the existing ADA parking stalls along the south side of the drive in front of Jones Hall to bring the parking spaces into ADA compliance. A redesign of the existing walkways leading to the building entrances will be included to create a new pedestrian pathway to the new Student Health Services entrances to the building, in addition to the existing entrances.

Secondary entrances are located on the southern and eastern ends of the building. Individuals who have a disability that prevents them from using the stairs may receive escorted access through the Counseling Center on their way to the elevator lobby. The side entrance to East Jones Hall also will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Work on the project is expected to be completed by June 4.
