The Provost's Office and the Center for Faculty Excellence are sponsoring a special series, "Creating Positive Relationships and Welcoming Work and Learning Environments," to help TWU employees deal with stressful situations brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

The first session of the three-part series will take place 2:30-4 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the Hubbard Hall Southeast Ballroom (SUHH) on the Denton campus (with COVID precautions in place) and via livestream. The session, "Dealing with Difficult People and Uncomfortable Situations," will include remarks from:

  • Annie Phillips-Munson (International Affairs, Denton)
  • Shannon Scott (College of Arts and Sciences, Denton)
  • Abigail Tilton (College of Arts and Sciences, Denton)

A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

Future sessions will focus on "Creating Environments Conducive to Learning" (Oct. 6) and "Cultivating Positive Relationships with Colleagues and Supervisors" (Nov. 10).
