The Texas Woman's basketball team will tip off the 2025-26 season in Denton, as the Pioneers host the 2025 D2CCA Tip-Off Classic on Nov. 7-8.

The Tip-Off Classic will feature six teams, all of which played in the NCAA National Tournament last season: TWU, Harding, Southwest Minnesota State, Tampa, The University of Alabama in Huntsville and Wayne State.

TWU returns seven players from last season's Sweet 16 team while welcoming four new faces. The Pioneers were picked to finish No. 1 in the Lone Star Conference Preseason Poll and were tabbed No. 3 nationally in the in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Preseason Poll.
