Assistant Professor Sabrina Pickens, PhD, of the College of Nursing in Houston was selected as a Gold Award recipient for the 2023 Excellence in Nursing Awards by the Good Samaritan Foundation.

Pickens is one of six gold medalists named out of 1,229 total nominations.
