Construction projects will bring additional changes to the parking landscape on TWU's Denton campus as the new semester gets underway.
Fencing for the construction area for the university's new dining facility north of Pioneer Hall will be moved north into the parking lot, enclosing approximately 50 additional parking spaces.
At the southern end of campus, the parking lot south of the Undergraduate Laboratory Building will be taken offline as preparation begins for construction of the new science research building, located at the intersection of Bell Avenue and Texas Street.
Parking spaces are still available in the new Oakland Complex, and permits for the facility will be prorated for the remainder of the year. Permits may be purchased in the TWU Department of Public Safety office located on the first floor of the complex.
The North Remote Parking Lot at Frame Street and University Drive remains available (TWU decal required), and the Denton Bible Church remote lot (230 E. University Dr.) will be available free of charge —no decal required. Please note: Due to the need for parking for church events and attendees, TWU faculty, staff and students are asked to park in the eastern-most spaces of the parking lot for the spring semester. See the Remote Shuttles and Parking page for more information.
Shuttle service to and from the remote lots will resume Monday, Jan. 14.
