Enjoy the arts with some upcoming events presented by the TWU School of the Arts & Design.
TWU Music students, faculty and staff will present “Zero to Eight Hands,” a piano ensemble concert, at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 5. In the MCL Auditorium. Admission is free.
TWU Dance will host an evening of dance, music and film in a performance of “Water Sources as Embodied Archives: Ecosomatic Dances & Traditional Knowledges in Teotihuacan/Mexico City & Denton,” with Danza Chikawa and the TWU International Dance Company.
Performances are scheduled at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 13, and 7 p.m., Friday, April 14, in the TWU Dance DGL Black Box Studio 208. This production is a result of research funded by the Texas Woman’s University Creative Arts and Humanities Grant.
