Need some motivation to face that writing project? Just Write for Faculty and Staff offers a quiet, supportive atmosphere that will help you get out of your regular routine and keep you accountable. Many participants have published the articles, chapters or books and/or won the grants they’ve worked on in the sessions.

Sessions begin Friday, March 11, and continue through the semester in the Center for Faculty Excellence, room 308 in Stoddard Hall. Faculty and staff in Dallas and Houston may attend virtually.

Sessions begin with introductions and goal setting, followed by quiet time for writing. A brown-bag lunch is scheduled noon to 1 p.m. for sharing tips and strategies for writing success. Participants may attend a morning or afternoon session – or both. Bring your laptop, tablet, etc., for writing. RSVP to save your spot.
