Denton has officially been crowned the Halloween Capital of Texas, and TWU is all in. Immediately following Boo at the U, be ready to celebrate in record-breaking style with the Texas Thriller Takeover. Also don’t forget to grab your tickets to Musical Theater’s first performance, “Zombie Prom” on Oct. 30 and 31 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 1 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

The Takeover event will attempt to break the current Texas record of 881 people dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” at the same time. All ages are welcome.

The event will take place at Pioneer Circle, outside Margo Jones Performance Hall. Check-in begins at 8 p.m.
