Inaugural Water Olympics Week set

TWU Fitness & Recreation has teamed with the department of housing and dining to offer the first-ever Fitness and Recreation Water Olympics Week March 1-4 in the Pioneer Hall pool.

Four different events — beachball race, boat races, floatie race, and cannonball contest — will be offered throughout the week. You may compete in more than one category, but do not have to participate in every event.

Register by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 21 and select the category/categories in which you would like to compete. The event is open to all current TWU faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Events will take place between 6 and 8 p.m. each night of the competition. Once registration closes, your team will be notified of the time they will be competing. Team competition times will be scheduled to limit the number of the people in the pool area at the same time. Social distancing and COVID-19 procedures will be in place throughout the full event.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each category. Contact Stephanie Gray at sgray13@twu.edu if you have questions.
