  • Anita Hufft (nursing) will be a panelist at the next TMC Health Policy Institute conversation set for 5:30-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, at Third Coast restaurant in the Texas Medical Center. The topic of discussion is U.S. Health Care: Where Do We Go Next? and will include other panelists from across the TMC. RSVP is required.
  • The Academic Resource Center staff is working hard this spring break to make a few changes before students are back. New shelves have been installed in room 4132, allowing for greater accessibility for faculty, students and staff seeking the business, HCA, NFS, OT, PT, reserve, reference and media collections. The ARC also invites any staff and faculty here during the break to come try the nap pod, the study room, check out some updated videos, and enjoy the new collection of current texts. As a reminder, ARC librarians and staff members Ryan Slattery, Marilyn Goff and Charles Fischer are available by appointment to assist with research.
  • Watch your World Series Champion Houston Astros take on the Baltimore Orioles at TWU Night with the Astros Tuesday, April 3, at Minute Maid Park. While the TWU ball caps have all been claimed, a limited number of tickets are still available at www.groupmatics.events/TWUNight.
