  • Dewaynna Horn (business) has been appointed associate dean for accreditation in the College of Business.
  • Faculty Ombudsperson Linda Rubin will visit the Houston campus Thursday, Nov. 29, and Friday, Nov. 30. The Harper Room on the 10th floor will serve as her office. Please feel free to drop by the office or contact her for an appointment at LRubin@twu.edu or 81-2605.
  • Therapy dogs from Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs of Houston will be on the Houston campus from noon to 3 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3. Co-sponsored by the Academic Resource Center and the Houston Office of Student Life, all TWU Houston community members are welcome to come visit with the dogs and their handlers.
  • The State Employees Charitable Drive (SECC) is completed and Houston contributed $3,077. Special thanks to the SECC Houston volunteer team: Marilyn Goff (libraries and SECC Houston campaign chair), Karen Moreland (nutrition and food sciences), Paula Clutter (nursing), Carlos DaSilva (office of technology and campus manager), and Diana Pierce (One Stop).
