  • Patricia Bowyer (occupational therapy) has had two articles accepted for publication: “Treatment Fidelity in Model of Human Occupation Research” in the British Journal of Occupational Therapy and “Admission Requirements and Practices in Entry-Level Occupational Therapy Programs” in the Journal of Occupational Therapy Education.
  • Faculty Ombudsperson Linda Rubin will be on the Houston campus Thursday and Friday, Sept. 27 and 28. Feel free to drop by the Harper Room (10th floor) to speak with her, or you can set up an appointment at 81-2605 or LRubin@twu.edu.
  • Under the leadership of Melissa Rodriguez (admissions), TWU Houston faculty, staff and current students welcomed 328 visitors, including 248 prospective students, to the open house event held Saturday, Sept. 20.
  • Julie Way and Glenn Jensen (Career Connections Center), along with Joan Edwards (nursing), worked to bring 17 hospital, clinic and home health care representatives to the TWU Houston Nursing Career Fair Monday, Sept. 24. Approximately 110 nursing students had the opportunity to meet the vendors and submit their resumes for consideration.
