American Association of Colleges of Nursing Wharton Executive Leadership Program
Aug. 6-9 in Philadelphia.

presented a breakout session at the
Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses Convention
June 23-27 in Tampa, Florida. The session covered the interprofessional relationships between nurses and physicians and the work the TWU Houston nursing team has been doing to acknowledge that improved collaboration and communication between both disciplines is needed and to move forward with solutions.
Wyona Freysteinson
(nursing) was featured for her research on body image as it relates to amputees in the
Levine Prevention/Sociocultural Factors Group
newsletter June 29 edition. The newsletter goes out to more than 700 body image researchers in 39 countries.
