Nursing faculty members Suzanne Scheller, Van Nguyen and Vi Ho led a group of nursing students in providing flu vaccine immunization, health education, blood pressure and BMI screenings and nutrition counseling to community members participating in the Lunar New Year 2019 celebration at the Lien Hoa Buddhist temple Saturday, Feb. 9 in Southwest Houston.
Tracy Lindsay (research and sponsored programs) will be on the TWU Houston campus today and tomorrow, Feb. 12-13, conducting Cayuse workshops. If you were not able to sign up for the workshop, but need to speak with her, she will be working in the research office on the 10^th floor.
Faculty Ombudsperson Linda Rubin will visit the Houston campus Thursday, Feb. 14 and Friday, Feb. 15. The Harper Room on the 10th floor will serve as her office. Please feel free to drop by or contact her for an appointment at lrubin@twu.edu or 81-2605
Come make a Valentine’s Day card for Texas Children’s Hospital patients! Everything you need to make a creative card can be found outside of Student Life on the second floor now through the end of the day.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Redbud Awards. Forms may be found in the Student Life area on the second floor. The deadline to submit a nomination is March 11.
