  • Headshots! Headshots! Headshots! Get it done today or tomorrow, Feb. 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., in room 4330. No appointment necessary.
  • Houston Staff Council is encouraging TWU Houston staff members to apply for a TWU Staff Development grant. The grants are awarded on a rolling basis, so as opportunities come up, consider applying for up to a $300 award.
  • Gerald Goodman (health care administration) has secured the American College of Healthcare Executives event for the TWU Houston campus for October 2019. The event brings top healthcare executives from almost every Texas Medical Center organization to the campus for professional development and is a great way for TWU to showcase academic programs.
  • The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will host a hands-on Cayuse workshop on campus from 12-2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, and from 10 a.m. -noon, Wednesday, Feb. 13. To request a slot at one of the workshops email Tracy Lindsay at least three days prior to the workshop. Include your name, TWU email address, department, and indicate which workshop you wish to attend.
  • Jorg Waltje, executive director for the Center for Faculty Excellence, will be on campus from 9 a.m. to noon today (Feb. 6). You will find him in the Harper Room on the 10th floor.
  • The Houston Staff Development Committee invites all staff and faculty to participate in this year’s Taste of Texas Potluck to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 6,on the 8th floor Legacy Room. Please sign up to bring your favorite dish.
