Congratulations to
Peggy Gleeson
(physical therapy) who received the Award for Leadership in Education from the
Academy of Physical Therapy Education
during the
American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA)
conference last week in Washington D.C. This is the highest honor given by APTE.
Jennifer Bogardus
(physical therapy) was also recognized during the APTA conference. She was awarded an “Adopt-A-Doc” scholarship for Ph.D. students demonstrating research that is meaningful to the profession of physical therapy.

(nursing) was elected to two new community boards this month including the Board of Governors of the
American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
and the Board of Directors of the
