  • Francie Baxter (occupational therapy) along with MOT alumna Brittney Burton has published “The Effects of the Leisure Activity of Coloring on Post-Test Anxiety in Graduate Level Occupational Therapy Students” in the Online Journal of Occupational Therapy.
  • Anita Hufft (nursing) was one of four panelists who spoke Jan. 15 at the TMC Health Policy Course event. The first of 13 sessions, the discussion covered “Debunking the Health Policy Myths.” The course will continue with a session every Tuesday through April 16. The sessions are free, but an RSVP is necessary to attend.
  • The Houston Center will host an Open House for prospective transfer and graduate students from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. The event is geared toward upper-level students interested in nursing and 100-percent-online degree completion programs, and graduate students in nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, health care administration, nutrition and the MBA program. Prospective students and their guests will have the opportunity to meet faculty and current students and attend sessions on admissions, financial aid, student services and more.
