  • Wyona Freysteinson (nursing) presented “Viewing self in the mirror after visible bodily disfigurement: Philosophical and theoretical underpinnings,” at the 13th Philosophy in the Nurse’s World Conference & 23rd International Philosophy of Nursing Conference held Aug. 18-20 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She also has been invited to join the board of directors of Grace After Fire, an organization committed to helping female veterans transition back into family life and the workplace.
