  • Melissa Rodriguez (admissions) and Arissa Gaytan (admissions, Denton) co-presented “Recruitment: Creating a Welcoming Environment for Latino College Students” at The College Board Prepárate: Educating Latinos for the Future of America Conference April 9 in San Antonio.
  • Nursing faculty Suzanne Scheller and Rebecca Aulbach presented at the Texas IPE Consortium Conference April 4 at the University of Houston. Scheller presented two IPE activities on patient safety and shared error, and Aulbach presented “Crisis Management IPE. All activities involved nursing, medical and pharmacy students. Scheller, Aulbach and fellow nursing faculty Rita DelloStritto and Peggy Landrum are members of the Texas Medical Center Inter-Professional Education Collaboration working closely with Baylor College of Medicine and UH College of Pharmacy on IPE research activities.
