  • Faculty and staff headshots will be taken 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27, and 12 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, in room 3115. No appointment is necessary.
  • Faculty ombudsperson Linda Rubin will visit the Houston campus March 1-2. Drop by the Harper Room on the 10th floor for a visit or contact her for an appointment.
  • A number of physical therapy faculty members are presenting at the American Physical Therapy Association’s national conference, the Combined Sections Meeting, in New Orleans this week. Among those with poster presentations are Wayne Brewer, Peggy Gleeson, Katy Mitchell and Alex Ortiz.
  • The Center for Global Nursing is hosting visiting scholar Qui Jingbo from Shanghai, China, at the Houston campus during the month of February. Jingbo, a nurse and midwife in The International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital of China welfare, is visiting birth centers and studying U.S. birthing practices during her time at TWU.
