Nursing faculty members Rita A. Dello Sritto and Steve Branham presented two sessions titled “Wound Management & Suturing Skills for the Nurse Practitioner" at the Houston Area Nurse Practitioners 9th Annual Conference: Actions for Positive Practice, on Nov 1.
On Oct. 24, HCA hosted the HITRUST cybersecurity seminar where panelists discussed cybersecurity, risk and compliance in health care, covering industry trends, challenges and strategies to mitigate risk. The seminar was organized by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
