Wyona Freysteinson (nursing) co-authored and published an article "Mirror Therapy: can this technique be used on facial disfigurement?" in Revisita E-Psi, a peer-reviewed psychology journal. In addition, Freysteinson's second video, Assisting Individuals to View Self in the Mirror After an Amputation, has been published on YouTube and received over 1,000 hits within the first two weeks.
Patricia Bowyer (occupational therapy) provided webinar training for the City of Hope in Los Angeles last week entitled "Applying occupation focused assessment and intervention within an oncology context."
The TWU Houston open house will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27.
