Open house for the TWU Houston campus is set for 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27.
Embodying TWU’s message of “campus with a heart,” Leslie Nelson (nursing) and her husband recently volunteered at a local nursing home. The pair learned to play ukuleles so they could provide music therapy on a monthly basis to residents of the home.
College of Nursing Dean Anita Hufft was among the first expert panelists to participate in the Texas Medical Center Health Policy Institute’s 2018 Health Policy series. The Jan. 9 session — the first in the 13-week series — was met with rave reviews and participation reached full capacity. Those wishing to attend future sessions, including the March 20 session featuring Judy McFarlane (nursing), should RSVP early.
