TWU’s Houston campus hosted 100 nursing and physical therapy students who came together April 19 for an interprofessional education (IPE) event focused on improving communication between practitioners in the two fields.

The students came together to discuss roles, team building, and communication between the disciplines. Suzanne Scheller (Nursing, Houston) and Christina Bickley (Physical Therapy, Houston) arranged the event, which was facilitated by 20 physical therapy and nursing faculty and practitioners. It was sponsored by the TWU College of Health Sciences.
