You have an opportunity to help choose the next Book-in-Common for the TWU Community.
The selection process for the 2022-2024 Book-in-Common has begun, and Texas Woman’s faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to help determine the book to be read.
Information about each of the 21 proposed books and their authors, as well as a link to vote on your choice, is available on the Book in Common Selection page. The survey is open through Wednesday, April 7.
Your feedback will be used to narrow the list to approximately five books, and the TWU Community will have another opportunity to provide feedback on the top five. Members of the Book-in-Common reading subcommittee will read each book this summer, and their recommendations will be merged with recommendations from the TWU Community to recommend a book for adoption.
The Book-in-Common program is a university-wide initiative developed to foster a learning environment focused on the success of students to live, work and lead in a diverse and complex world. The program promotes an awareness and appreciation for the richness that is brought by embracing all forms of diversity and multicultural perspectives. It also supports university initiatives such as curricular and co-curricular efforts in Global Connections, Wellness Connections, and Business Connections.
