Groceries to Go! will take place Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Lowry Woods Parking Lot on the Denton Campus. The event will begin with priority shopping only for TWU students from 10-11 a.m., with the 11 a.m.-noon slot open to all. 

TWU's Campus Alliance for Resource Education (CARE) partners with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to help address food insecurity issues by providing fresh produce and non-perishable items to the Denton campus in the fall and spring semesters. Groceries to Go! is open for students, faculty, staff and community members. 

TAFB follows USDA guidelines for eligibility but will not turn an individual away who is in need. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags. CARE is not aware of food availability until the day of.
