'Gender & Justice' workshop set

The Women’s Thought Leadership Program will host “Gender & Justice: Communication Strategies for Policy Change,” an interactive workshop, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, via Zoom. Registration is free and open to the public.

Houston-based writer and activist Eesha Pandit will lead the workshop, which is designed to help attendees:

  • Develop strategies to communicate effectively with policymakers
  • Make political policy understandable to a wide range of audiences
  • Use policy to make social change

The Women’s Thought Leadership Program at TWU is a multi-pronged program aimed at helping students take the knowledge and skills developed while earning their degrees and translate them to the public while also teaching different ways to enhance and communicate their credibility as thought leaders. The WTLP is funded by the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership.
