Join a discussion about religion and spirituality as sources of personal identity, existential meaning, and social justice activism – participate in Faith Zone, a multifaith ally training hybrid workshop for faculty, staff, and students.
The workshop is scheduled 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, March 25, in Lecture Hall 101 in the Denton campus library and via Zoom. Lunch will be provided for in-person participants. Register by Friday, March 18.
Goals of the workshop include:
- Increasing understanding of religious and spiritual diversity in society and of faith traditions that are different from one’s own
- Enhancing awareness of religion as an axis of power and privilege in human society
- Developing a greater sense of inclusion and belonging at Texas Woman’s for members of minority religious traditions
The training is a collaboration between the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Outreach, the FaithZone Committee, and the Health and Wellbeing Initiative. For more information, contact the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Outreach at diversity@twu.edu.
