TWU Houston was well represented at the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Leadership Development Conference, held Jan. 28-30 in Orlando, Florida. Attendees included AWHONN section and chapter leaders from across the United States, the board of directors, and the executive leadership within the organization.

Attending from the TWU Houston College of Nursing were Sandra Cesario (president, AWHONN board of directors), Rachelle Nurse (chair AWHONN National Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee), and Shelley Nelson (PhD Nursing Science student, member of AWHONN board of directors).
