Student Health Services is
moving to Jones Hall
in order to make way for the new Student Union in Hubbard Hall and
will be closed for all services
to the TWU community from Friday, Sept. 7 through Monday, Sept. 10. No direct communication with Student Health Services will be available during this transition period. The office will reopen for business at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 in Jones Hall, Suite 120. An open house at the new location will take place later in the year.
Have you taken advantage of the remote parking lots and shuttles yet? Shuttle service to both the North Remote Parking Lot (Frame Street and University Drive) and the Denton Bible Church Remote Parking Lot (2300 E. University Dr.) operates from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Due to construction at Hubbard Hall, the pick up/drop off location for the North Remote Lot has been moved to inside the U-shaped drive (commonly referred to as “Stonehenge”) outside the east first-floor entrance doors of the ACT building. TWU staff may particularly be interested in an adult group piano class meeting from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Fridays. This class counts toward TWU’s Workplace Wellness and Exercise Program. With supervisor approval, staff can add 30 minutes to their lunch breaks in order to attend.
