  • Governor Jackson (financial aid) is retiring after 41 years with Texas Woman’s University. The TWU community is invited to attend a reception in his honor from 3 to 5 p.m. today in the ACT second-floor lobby.
  • The Bike Share employee lunch and learn program has been rescheduled for 11:30-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 in the Fit and Rec Center. The event will include an introduction to the new Spin bikes and information on how to download the app, where to park and how to use the bikeshare program. Registration (Google sign-in required) is requested by noon Monday, April 2. Contact Thad Mantaro if you have questions.
  • Mahesh S. Raisinghani (College of Business) co-authored a chapter, "Online Advertising: Creating a Relationship between Businesses and Consumers," which was accepted for publication as a chapter in the International Marketing and Management Research journal series (forthcoming 2018). 
  • Ron Davis (kinesiology) attended the second session of Project Development Team with Beijing Sport University for starting adapted physical education and sport programs. Another workshop is scheduled in January 2019.
  • Celia Lo (sociology) has co-authored two works currently in press: “Working Alliance in Case Management: An Essential Element for Successful Outcome,” in the British Journal of Social Work; and “Data Spanning Three Decades Illustrate Racial Disparities in Likelihood of Obesity” in Ethnicity and Health. TWU doctoral students William Ash-Houchen and Heather Gerling were among the co-authors of the latter publication, currently available online.
