  • Commencement rehearsal in preparation for the Dec. 13-14 ceremonies will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Kitty Magee Arena of Pioneer Hall. Anyone who has a commencement responsibility requiring direction at the rehearsal is invited to attend. Faculty participating as a member of the stage party or the faculty party should arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony in which they are participating and go to Pioneer Hall room 107, which is designated as a robing room.
  • Faculty and staff are asked to park on the south end of campus Friday, Dec. 13, to allow plenty of parking for our commencement guests. See the commencement parking map for reference. Preferred areas for faculty/staff parking are shown in purple.
  • The North Texas Food Bank Mobile Pantry will be on campus 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, on the Jones Hall parking lot. All qualifying faculty, staff and students are invited to grab some fresh fruits and veggies.
  • The TWU Community is invited to a retirement reception for Sharon Masten (College of Professional Education) 2-3 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18, in the Stoddard Hall Lobby.
  • Suzanne Burns (occupational therapy) was presented with the Young Investigator Award in Post-Acute Stroke Rehabilitation at the 2019 American Stroke Association/American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, held Nov. 5-8 in Chicago. She also presented the award lectureship, “Adults with post-stroke executive dysfunction: Understanding real-world performance in the lived environment.”
