  • Don’t miss Dueling Pianos 8-10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, in the MCL Auditorium. Two pianists will battle it out while taking song suggestions from the audience. It’s billed as a “fun, eccentric, and one-of-a-kind experience,” and it’s free!
  • Mark your calendars for the annual 3-Minute Thesis scheduled 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in ACT 301. The event challenges TWU master’s and doctoral students to present a compelling oration on their thesis and/or dissertation topic and its significance in just three minutes. Judges will award a first and second place, but the audience will have the opportunity to vote on a “People’s Choice” recipient. The event is free and open to the public.
  • TWU’s Office of Emergency Management will host two free Stop the Bleed classes open to faculty, staff and students: 11-noon Tuesday, Sept. 3, and noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. Both classes will take place in Student Union 111. Pack a lunch and go learn how to save a life.
