  • Congratulations to Ward Sheeder (facilities management and construction) on his appointment as director of TWU’s Physical Plant. He had served as interim director since April 2017. In his 16-plus years with the university, Sheeder has served as a tradesman and inspector of plumbing, supervisor of facilities management operations at the Dallas campus and assistant director for plant utilities. He also is a TWU alumnus.
  • Celia Lo (sociology), graduate teaching assistant Heather Gerling and TWU alumnus William Ash-Houchen co-authored “Fractured Modernization: Cultural and Structural Predictors of Attitudes on Gender Equality,” to be published in a forthcoming issue of the International Review of Sociology.
