  • The 12th annual Pioneer Power Sprint Triathlon & 5K returns to the Denton campus after one year away due to the 2017 construction on Bell Avenue. The sprint triathlon, a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event, will begin at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, July 22 and will feature a 200-yard swim, a 16.1-mile (26 km) bike ride and a 3.1-mile run. There's also a team competition. The 5K is open to runners and walkers, and will begin at 7:30 a.m. There's still time to register.
  • TWU Libraries Special Collections staff members Megan Haase, Kimberly Johnson and Sheila Bickle recently were featured in the Spring issue of Aviatrix Aerogram in a photo taken at the 2018 Women in Aviation International Conference. Throughout the year, members of the Special Collections team attend trade shows promoting the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) Archive.
