  • The Office of University Advancement will host a going away reception for Robin Head 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 in the Blagg-Huey Library Living Room. Light refreshments will be served at this come-and-go event.
  • Rehearsal for commencement ceremonies will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9 in the Kitty Magee Arena of Pioneer Hall. Anyone who has a commencement responsibility requiring direction, or any hooding faculty needing to familiarize themselves with hooding or needing a refresher, is invited to attend.
  • The Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences’ Summer Nutrition Culinary Camp is celebrating its fifth year with a “World Cuisine” theme. The camp runs June 17-20 and is designed for ages 7-15. TWU employees will receive 75 percent off the cost by using promo code 75OFF and a TWU email address.   • Keila Felts (pronounced “Kayla”) has joined the Office of General Counsel as the new director of compliance. Felts comes to TWU with more than 10 years of experience in compliance and ethics, policy creation, implementation, training and corporate governance. She previously served as director of compliance and legal affairs for the Irving-based OKI Data Americas, Inc., a subsidiary of $4 billion Japanese enterprise.
