TWU Dallas nursing faculty members Susan K. Chrostowski, Sharon Denham, Allisson Huffman and Eugenia Welch have been selected among the DFW Great 100 Nurses. They will be honored at a gala celebration April 15 in Dallas.
Allison Huffman (nursing) was awarded the 2019 Excellence in Nursing award by D Magazine. The winners of the award are featured in the March edition.
A sensory-friendly family fun camp will be held at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7. The event includes scavenger hunts, nightlight tent fun, art-making stations, twilight story time, activity tables and a sensory quiet room facilitated by TWU occupational therapy students and faculty. The event is free, but please register.
The Dallas Staff Council members hosted a Superhero Staff Appreciation Day last Friday, March 1, to celebrate the everyday heroes working on the TWU Dallas campus. Some 25 staff heroes attended and had fun using the photo booth and enoying an assortment of treats.
