(nursing), held the interdisciplinary Mental Health First Aide Certification workshop Feb. 2. The third annual workshop successfully brought together 30 physical therapy, occupational therapy and nursing students for training, with the added bonus of learning more about each discipline. The workshop was supported by the TWU Health and Wellbeing Initiative.

Dallas Staff Council members honored and recognized the undergraduate nursing clerical staff as the featured department for February 2019. Recognized staff includes

Michelle Jones
. In addition, Zapata received an award of recognition for her dedicated service to Staff Council from 2012-2019. She worked to implement change and bring new opportunities to the Dallas Center during her seven years on Staff Council.
